Wedding day photography represents a lifetime investment.  In addition to being the repository of your precious memories of that special day, your wedding photographs provide a lasting keepsake for your family.  The price of this investment depends primarily on the amount of coverage you desire, the number of images you select and the quality of both the photography and of the artistic processing of these images after the wedding.

As a guide, full day coverage of your wedding is usually in the range of $1930 to $2875.  Full-day coverage includes a high quality wedding album, selected from one of several styles and colors.  Only color-corrected and enhanced images are used for these albums, not proofs or previews.  For couples looking for fewer hours of coverage and a smaller album, packages start at $1150.

While budgeting for your wedding photography is important, other factors are equally significant.  Certainly the quality and variety of images should be high on your list.  I suggest you visit with me so we can chat about the details of your wedding day and view additional samples of my work.

Another important but intangible consideration is the personality of the photographer.  You will be working with your photographer for more time than for any other service provider for your wedding.  Make sure that you choose someone you will enjoy working with.

And finally, consider whether your photographer is actively involved in one or more professional associations.  I have been a member of Delaware Professional Photographers Inc. (www.delawarephotographers.com) for over 15 years.  I served for about three years as the Newsletter Editor for the Association. More recently, I served on the Board of Directors and was the webmaster for the DPP site.
